I spent a LOT of money today... I got a bunch of stuff from here, including a couple of Even As We Speak singles, a Shop Assistants single, an old zine (the This Almighty Pop! one) ...um... OH! and that sha-la-la flexi they've got on there, which was the most expensive but way worth it because I've been looking for it forever. After that I ended up buying an issue of Are You Scared To Get Happy from somewhere else, which I'm insanely excited about. I can't wait for all this stuff to come. Too bad most of it's coming from England!

I'm also getting the new Lucksmiths double cd but somehow I miscalculated and didn't put the right amount of money on my debit card, so I've only got $15 when I need $16. I COULD add more money, but my card works so it has to add at least $10 and I don't want that much. I'm hoping to sell a zine or something so I don't have to add that much.

So if you ever considered buying my zine, now would be a good time. (this is bad advertising, isn't it? I promise, this wasn't the point of this entry... )

I bought a record player today! It's like an old toy-type record player that works... it's orange! I also got a heavenly 7" so I'd have something to play on it... (I'd like to get some more sarah stuff, but the only place for that is ebay, and there's not much sarah stuff on ebay now, but hey, one's alright! and I do love heavenly...) well, actually I have some 7" somewhere in my room that I got from the awesome ICE thing. I looked up the band, apparently they're a shoegaze band, which is pretty neat. The record's this nice type brownish color, and it came with a lot of sweet photos in it. I can't wait to get my stuff in the mail! Oh and decemberists vs. colbert in like twenty minutes! check it out!

it's exam week now, but I've been doing pretty good. I got a 96 and a 106 (with incentive, obviously) today the 96 wasn't enough to bring up my 88, but since it's in AP i still have a 4.0 GPA this semester! that's pretty good for the first semester of high school, I guess.

I think it speaks for itself.

I want to make cupcakes, but we're out of cupcake liner-y things. it kind of sucks.

in better news, today the most kickass architecture in helsinki shirt ever came for me. unlike my way-too-big of montreal shirt, it actually fits. i've been wearing it around even though it still smells vaguely like australia.

oh, and i got the presale decemberists tickets!

in other cupcake-y news, my lovely mother made me some amazing awesome totally cool cupcake earrings that i'm kind of in love with. i just might have to wear them everyday ever.

and my sister got her ears pierced a little while ago! she just wants it so she can put safety pins in her ears. pshhh, that punk. she's become unhealthily punk since coming back from ghp, we might have to investigate.
